Why becoming platform-agnostic matters to me

When we began building FIT4Cloud, our focus was clear: help Oracle HCM customers overcome one of the most persistent challenges in enterprise HR transformation—connecting Oracle seamlessly to their wider technology landscape and unlocking the full value of their HR data.

Over the years, we matured within the Oracle Cloud HCM ecosystem. Through real-world implementations, we strengthened our solution, refined our delivery methods and built deep expertise in solving complex integration challenges.

As our work expanded into Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, we saw that customers faced many of the same pain points. The platforms and data models differed, but the underlying challenges were familiar: complex mappings, fragmented business logic, inconsistent payroll data and an overreliance on scarce specialist knowledge.

This made us recognise that the expertise and artefacts we developed were far more than individual project deliverables.

They were reusable assets: proven approaches for matching data models, mapping workforce structures, applying transformation and conversion rules and managing the sequencing and validation required for reliable integrations.

The underlying integration challenges are shared across Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and the wider HCM industry. By standardising and reusing what we have learned, we can solve common problems more consistently while adapting each integration to the customer’s chosen platform and business requirements.

This is more than a product extension. It is a strategic step towards making enterprise-grade payroll and HR integration faster, more predictable and more accessible across multiple leading HCM platforms.

Customers should not be locked into a single vendor ecosystem because integration is complex. Their payroll and HR integrations should adapt to their technology landscape—not the other way around. That is the direction we are taking at Epicenter: combining reusable integration assets, automated mapping and AI-driven intelligence to accelerate delivery and remove barriers to successful HCM transformation.
